These are the rules we hold ourselves to. If we break one, tell us and we will log the fix on our corrections page.
- Every factual claim about a law, ruling or incident links to its primary source — a gazette, regulator page or court order — or to a named law firm or news outlet.
- Every law page shows when we last checked it and keeps a dated changelog.
- We write explainers, not legal advice. For decisions with legal consequences, speak to a lawyer where you are.
- Opinion is labelled as opinion. Case studies keep “what happened” separate from “our take”.
- There are no affiliate links in the tracker or in case studies. Where a post has affiliate links, we say so at the top.
- We take no sponsorship from a company we covered in a case study in the past 12 months, and sponsors never see content before it is published.
