AI Ethiquettes

The ethics and etiquette of everyday AI.

Our standards

These are the rules we hold ourselves to. If we break one, tell us and we will log the fix on our corrections page.

  • Every factual claim about a law, ruling or incident links to its primary source — a gazette, regulator page or court order — or to a named law firm or news outlet.
  • Every law page shows when we last checked it and keeps a dated changelog.
  • We write explainers, not legal advice. For decisions with legal consequences, speak to a lawyer where you are.
  • Opinion is labelled as opinion. Case studies keep “what happened” separate from “our take”.
  • There are no affiliate links in the tracker or in case studies. Where a post has affiliate links, we say so at the top.
  • We take no sponsorship from a company we covered in a case study in the past 12 months, and sponsors never see content before it is published.
